In Outfoxed, Mrs. Plumpert’s prized pot pie has gone missing, and now it’s a chicken chase to crack the case!
During the game you move around the board to gather clues, then use the special evidence scanner to rule out suspects. You have to work together quickly because the guilty fox is high-tailing it towards the exit! Will you halt the hungry hooligan before it flies the coop — or will you be outfoxed? The game deftly combines co-operation and deduction into a wonderful venue for honing deductive reasoning in a non-competitive environment. As you work together to try and nab the guilty fox, you’ll learn some valuable skills such as estimating probability and paying attention to details, as well as the important role that collaboration plays towards problem-solving. Happy sleuthing!
Outfoxed is a really good game to introduce a family to the joys of co-operative gaming. A similar deduction mechanism to Cluedo. For 2-4 players, allow 20 minutes, ages 5 and up. Winner of Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award, National Parenting Publications (NAPPA) Silver Award, and is Dice Tower Approved – see the publisher page here.
