Abstract strategy game with gorgeous artwork where your goal is to earn 12 victory points or be the last man standing, in the hexagonal desert of Ekö, where rocks, sand and wind come to life as ephemeral armies. In Ekö, you must always think twice before destroying your opponent’s pieces, because they immediately return to their owner’s reserve, and then your adversary can return them to play wherever he wishes at the end of his next turn (which is often more interesting than having your pieces scattered all over the board).
64 engraved wooden discs (16 per player, 1 of which is an Emperor).
• 36 buildings (1 castle, 3 towers, and 5 encampments per player).
• 13 large hexagonal tiles to construct the modular board + 11 small tiles for the variants.
• 4 player boards.
• The rules of the game.
